To take full advantage of our hunting package we suggest that you make your reservation as early as possible. As a bonus for booking early we offer in July / August, a free weekend of exciting and successful fishing for King Salmon and Steelhead on Lake Michigan. We own two 30 ft. fishing vessels equipped with sophisticated electronics and the latest in fishing gear. We fish the waters off Winthrop Harbor / Zion, which is the most productive area of entire Lake Michigan.

For 2008 we have 6 openings for shotgun hunts.  The dates are Nov 21st, 22nd, 23rd.  Our success rate is nearly 100% with many big bucks harvested.  Prices are $2,200 for a guided shotgun hunt including lodging (no food). 

Most bowhunters will say that the opportunities to kill a mature buck with a bow and arrow are few and far between.  To increase your odds, we offer 5 day guided bow hunts in the heart of Pike County, world renown for trophy whitetails.  Prices begin at $1,750 for a 5 day guided bowhunt including lodging (no food).

Why seven days?  After carefully researching the weather patterns during bow hunting seasons over numerous years in Western Illinois, we discovered that a cold snap will occur more often during a seven day cycle than a five day cycle.

Experienced bowhunters know what a cold, overcast day in November means for deer hunting!  By staying in the field seven days instead of five days you increase your chances of success by over 28%.  Also, who wouldn't choose to hunt two more days to get away from the daily grind?

We book hunts with a maximum of 8 hunters.  By allowing only 8 bowhunters per week, we can assure a quality hunt regardless of the timing of the hunt.  We only hunt sections of the property at a time, leaving other areas undisturbed and maintaining a sanctuary section.  The surrounding 1500 acres has been mostly bow hunted by no more than 10 bow hunters in the past five years so there has been very little hunting pressure.  The bucks are true monsters!

We provide guided bow hunts while giving you the freedom to choose the location where you want to hunt, taking you to and from your stand and helping you with tracking and recovering your trophy. The only thing that we cannot do for you is releasing the arrow or pull the trigger - that will be your job!

We offer transportation to and from the Pittsfield airport which is 20 minutes away.
