| A: |
|
Clients of outfitters licensed by IDNR will be given preference in the drawing for the first 7,500 of the 25,000 combination permits.
Clients of licensed outfitters should contact the outfitter prior to applying to receive a certification number to be used in the application process to verify their outfitter client status.
If the permit cannot be purchased during the sale period, the deposit money less $100 processing fee will be refunded upon written notification within 14 days of the last sale date.
The bowhunter may transfer the deposit to the following year rather than receive the refund and lock in that year's price.
Illinois residents can purchase bowhunting permits over the counter. Therefore, the refund policy is not related to the availability of permits.
Cancellations or rescheduling hunts more than 30 days prior to the scheduled hunt will only be honored when received in writing.
Cancellation refund is subject to processing fees.
We do not issue credits or refunds for NO-SHOWS unless due to death or serious illness/injuries corroborated by a doctor.
