Pike County Bucks, LLC offers
exceptional opportunity for harvesting very large trophy whitetail
deer on
private heavily wooded farms in Pike County,
Illinois.
Properties located in the Golden Triangle, an area well known for Pope &
Young and Boone & Crockett bucks. Only a limited number of bow hunters allowed for the
2012 season during deer hunting season. We pay attention to the small details to
make your hunting trip more successful and enjoyable.
Our success rate is one of the highest in Pike County.
The properties are strictly used for deer and turkey hunting, for a limited
number of days. There is no squirrel, rabbit, pheasant, quail, raccoon,
or coyote hunting allowed.
We have a very large number of deer on the properties,
including many mature bucks. During the rut, sightings of more than thirty
deer on one day is not uncommon.
We trust your hunting abilities to be able to
judge the size of a buck's antlers from a distance.
We require that only trophies be taken.
We have over 90 permanent treestands situated strategically
throughout the properties which are trimmed, safe and comfortable (see
Treestands page) but if you wish, you can bring your own climbing
stand. We offer scouting opportunities
in the spring and provide accurate weather information to hunters each
evening, including wind direction and temperature. For your convenience,
in order to familiarize yourself with the lay of the land, the boundaries
and the potential hot spots, a map of the hunting area will be sent to
you prior to your hunt. We recommend you bring GPS, cellular phones, two
way radios, and ATV's.
We highly recommend total scent control: daily showers,
scent lock clothing, and abstaining from smoking or tobacco products.

We are a state licensed outfitter and fully insured. |
